In May 2026, AAA co-facilitated a five-day Training of Trainers on Business Management and Development in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The training was delivered under COLEAD’s MAHEBER programme, a European Union-funded initiative to strengthen the competitiveness, resilience and sustainability of Ethiopia’s horticultural value chains — a sector central to the country’s food security, export earnings and rural livelihoods.
Sixteen business experts, trainers and consultants who support Ethiopia’s agri-food micro, small and medium enterprises were equipped with practical tools in business diagnostics, training design, facilitation and coaching, so that they can in turn deliver high-quality advisory services and training to horticulture enterprises across the country.
The training recorded a 95% overall participant satisfaction rate, with participants particularly valuing its hands-on, practice-based approach.
